On the Fringe

Live out your bohemian 70's fantasies by indulging in this latest trend, the fringe purse. Not quite sure how I feel about bright colored ones, but this natural suede look is cute. This hobo bag is exclusive to Urban Outfitters. Snap closure at the front flap with a hidden zipper pocket underneath. Fully lined with a zip closure. 2 patch pockets and a zippered pocket inside. Best part? Has an adjustable strap. $78.

Wrap Sweaters

Super soft and so versatile. Something tells me airlines are going to start charging for blankets, so a lightweight wrap like this is perfect for the plane. C&C California makes this one in a few different colors and in different textures as well. This jersey cardigan comes with a shawl collar. 50% pima cotton/50% modal. Wash cold. $98.

Boden

This cool clothing line was started by Johnny Boden in 1991 in London and originally was a menswear line. It grew to children and women and reminds me a little of J.Crew. Click here to read a humorous story about their history. Kinda makes me like them even more as a retailer. They have a great line of Fall boots and shoes that are worth checking out too. On their US website (there's a UK one too), they let you write reviews of their apparel. I am liking this fitted, modern biker jacket. It is cotton, but it is waterproof because it is waxed cotton. $148. Comes in Black, brown or light brown.

The Jabra SP5050 Speakerphone

Jabra is one of the world's most well-known Bluetooth headset manufacturers and is now ready to light up the tech world with Bluetooth speakerphones. This new phone is slim and easy to use, which will be important with a lot of the new hands-free cell phone laws coming out. The SP5050 has a background noise reduction feature, a visor clip, is lightweight, and has number redial, call mute, voice dialing, and a night driving mode - this shuts off the LED lights at night so your eyes don't get distracted. You also have the ability to transfer calls from the phone to the speakerphone and vice versa. It also has a rated talk time of 12 hours and a standby time of 8.3 days.

"Insider's" Shopping Clubs

Ideeli.com and Gilt Groupe's gilt.com offer bargain prices for couture items. The only hitch is you have to be accepted as a member first. Kinda like costco, except not really. Just this week, I have received special sale offers on Missoni towels, Vera Wang, Dolce and Gabbana shoes, Linea Pelle purses and some other good ones. You can also upgrade to shop one hour earlier than all of the other fashionistas. I think ideeli might have the more affordable pieces, while gilt.com has the higher-end pieces. Either way, it is worth checking into. Cheers, shoppers!

Tory Burch Barton Cuff

A cool twist on an old classic. The Barton Cuff features a gorgeous abstract geometric design. Comes in either an orange or ivory symbol. Let's hope for $175 it won't tarnish either.
