We all need a Fairy Godmother

Lisa Goodwin makes unique semi-precious jewelry and her designs have been featured on the TV and also in in US Weekly, InStyle, People and The New York Post. Some of her celebrity fans/jewelry oweners include Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Eva Mendes, Courteney Cox and Sarah Jessica Parker. I am loving this delicate handmade fairy necklace selling at Intuition. On a 16" chain. $65. Ohh, and the fact that it is called the "Romance Fairy" necklace can't be a bad thing either.

Red Coral Lariat Necklace

I found this interesting necklace on alloy.com that was bold red and a lariat to boot. Even better? The price. Only $14.50! Show your fashonista cred by mixing inexpensive trendy pieces into your more expensive oldie but goodies. Also looks great with a lot of the white summer dresses out there right now.

Yoga Toes?

Ok, so I am dying to know if these things work?? Anyone? They are supposedly good for girls that wear high pointy heels. They come in a variety of colors, look kinda creepy...but they might keep your tootsies from hurting. I also read a review online in which they say Yoga Toes help to increase balance, "surefootedness", joint range, coordination, correct bone/tissue/cartilage misalignments, improve posture, foot reaction time, stamina. $39.

Lucky Stars

What a difference a plain old t-shirt can make. Michael Stars has so many great, inexpensive t-shirts that are perfect for under business suits, going out or lounging. AND they are comfortable! You can find them at Bloomies, Nordstroms, their own stores or even online. The one to the left I have bought in so many colors and wear all of the time. Because most everything in the store is a solid, it ends up going with so much more. They are perfect for long-waisted gals too. $44.

Be Good to Yourself...and the Planet

What's wrong with tap water? Absolutely nothing! Convincing you that you need bottled water is just another marketing ploy. In addition to reusable shopping bags, reusable bottles are another smart alternative to "use once & toss" disposables. They save you money while saving precious natural resources by cutting down on the trillions of cans and bottles trashed each year. An aluminum or stainless steel bottle won't emit toxins like reusing plastic water bottles. This kind by SIGG is 100% recyclable, completely reusable and dishwasher safe. Cute to boot!

Music to Soothe the Savage Beast

Picture this: You get home from work after a grueling day at the office and you just want to sit on your couch and veg out. Only problem is your poochie is going crazy with excitement to see you, running around and around in circles hoping you will take them on some kind of hike or journey. Concert pianist Lisa Spector noticed that when she practiced on her piano, her rambunctious dog calmed down. Very slow-paced classical music is apparently a form of cat nip! It also helps with separation anxiety. Now you can buy Lisa's CD’s at Amazon. Here is one for only $14.95.

You register for it and it knows who you are when you call next. Jott converts your voice into emails, text messages, reminders, lists and appointments. Super cool!
