White Watches

White plastic or acrylic watches are everywhere.  You could pay more than $3,000 for one by Chanel or you could get a cheaper, cooler TOYWATCH. They tout their line as an "anti-luxury statement in a luxury obsessed culture". Style icons Madonna and Sienna Miller have one of these beauties. This is one I like especially, because it is solid white. Details: Water-resistant to 5 ATM (50 meters), Quartz movement, Acrylic/stainless steel. $195

Tria Laser Hair Removal System

Laser hair removal works...and having someone do it in a doctor's office costs lots of $$$. There is now an at-home laser named Tria, still pricey ($995) but you get lots of uses out of it. Saves time, energy and maybe even a few bucks. This is permanent. Hairy back people: you might want to invest in one of these. Might save a few stares at the beach.

Carrie Bradshaw's Belt

This belt was all over the Sex and the City movie and Carrie Bradshaw wore it well.  She wore it with just about everything, too.  Who knew you could wear a studded belt with formal attire?  Very cool.  Patricia Field (the serie' long time stylist) always comes up with new trends.  This one you could not help zeroing in on in almost every scene.  Buy it on Patricia Field's website for July pre-sale for $120 or you can get it now for $250 elsewhere if you dare.

The Skinny Girl's Margarita

Summertime is margarita time! Margaritas are delicious, but they are loaded with way to much sugar and way too much salt. If you want to bloat up fast, have a few margaritas. Bethenny Frankel, the Natural Foods Chef and co-star of The Real Housewives of New York City has come up with a delicious alternative to sweet margarita mix, called "The Skinny Girl's Margarita". Apparently, clear liquor is the key. Here is also included a link so you can watch a video of her making a frozen batch.

What you'll need:

* 2 oz of clear Tequila (100% agave, Patron Silver)
* (count 1, 2 while you pour, no need for measuring)
* A splash of fresh lime juice
* A splash of Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec

Combine all ingredients over a glass of ice

Garnish with a lime wedge and salt (or sugar) if you'd like.

Makes one serving

I like the big daddy armoire, which features a large divided drawer, sections for rings, earrings and necklaces, storage for bracelets and watches, a mirror and two travel boxes that lay inside. May be monogrammed with a single initial on the interior mirror for an additional charge. 16.5 x 10.5 x 10" h. McKenna Jewelry Armoire, $349.

Octopus Necklace?

Yes, that is precisely what I said.  I saw some of these for over $100, but I found this one for 11.95 Euros. Large Octopus Brass charm on Gold Plated 16” chain with a cute vintage sea shell charm dangling down the back. Designed by Lili Confetti Of Paris.  Check out the pics on their site to see the scale of the necklace on someone's actual neck.  Strange concept, I know.

Need a logo design, business card or website?

There is a website called 99designs.com that you can go to and submit a 'creative brief', which is your design idea, and how much you are willing to pay for the service.  They set up a contest for you that runs about 7 days.  The contestants are a "thriving community of 12,945 talented designers".  Pretty cool idea for those design-challenged that need work done and have no clue who to call or how much to spend.    Click here to start your own contest or browse the ones currently going for inspiration:
